The first Rossmann chemist’s in Poland was opened in 1993 at ul. Piotrkowska in Lodz.
After years of its business activity the company has 1000 stores in nearly 400 towns and cities.
Rossmann is present both in biggest cities’ shopping centres as well as in towns. The chemist’s can be found in such prestigious locations as for example Krupówki in Zakopane, Bohaterów Monte Cassino in Sopot or at ul. Floriańska in Cracow.

Its domestic detergents-cosmetic business market share is 26%. Each day 600,000 people shop at Rossmann.
Rossmann’s headquarters are in Lodz. The company employs 14,000 workers.
Poznan City CenterIn October 2013 the biggest Rossmann store in Europe was opened. The retail outlet is in Poznan City Centre shopping mall and has a surface area of 1,400m2. Apart from a vast product range (especially organic food and wine) clients can also use services of a hair salon. The youngest ones can spend some time in a playing area. The second surface-wise Rossmann retail outlet is the chemist’s at Manufaktura. Here we can find Beauty Zone where minor, competitively priced, beauty treatments are offered.

Rossmann Poland is a part of capital-purchasing group composed of Rossmann GmbH and A.S. Watson. It includes 11,000 chemists in 33 countries in Europe and Asia. The group employs in total over 100,000 workers. Rossmann’s logo is a centaur – half-horse, half-man, inscribed in the letter “o”. This trademark is also a visualization of the company’s founder and owner’s surname (Ross – steed, Mann – man).
The product range includes 16,000 products. These are both products of first class international as well as Polish companies. Apart from typically chemist’s products Rossmann also sells, for example, beverages, sweets and teas. Some retail outlets also offer books and wine.
