Rossmann Polska is part of  capital and acquisition group created by Rossmann GmbH and A.S. Watson. The group comprises the outlets of such well known chains as Rossmann, Kruidvat, A.S.Watson, Superdrug, Savers, Trekpleister and ICI Paris.

In 1972, Dirk Rossmann opened his first shop in Hanover and at the same time he became the pioneer of the concept of  self-service beauty supplies shop. Each shop front features the company logo -  centaur placed in the letter  -  mythical Greek creature: half-man and half-horse,  symbolic representation of the company's founder and owner's surname (Ross - steed, mann - man).

In 1993, Dirk Rossmann decided to expand his chain into other countries. He opened his first outlet in Łódź, at Piotrkowska street and soon after in Hungary and the Czech Republic.  consistent expansion of the company resulted in 1800 beauty supplies outlets open in Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic and Hungary.

In 1993, Dirk Rossmann created the Rossmann Central Europe company together with the Dutch company Kruidvat with  view to further expansion in Central European countries.

Belonging to such  strong group gives Rossmann Polska  strong market position,  stable financial position and the opportunities for further dynamic development.
